I am a storyteller who grew up under the Montana sky. Nourished by August thunderstorms, whiteouts, chinooks, and May flowers, I’ve grown to exceedingly love and care for the Treasure State, and my journalism career reflects that passion.

I cover stories of the West: Its history, its news, and questions for its future. In addition to my own appetite for pen and paper, I enjoy working with other writers to help cultivate their own unique tales and provide a variety of editing services.

I am a 2019 American Whitewater Scholar. Prior to my freelance work, I attended Montana State University, studied environmental history, and graduated with honors.

I am the editor in chief for Edible Bozeman and the Big Sky Journal.
